The story of Captain America and The Avengers
Captain America and the Avengers est un beat'em up développé et publié par Data East en 1991, mettant en scène les héros Marvel face à Crâne Rouge et à son armée de super-vilains. Le joueur choisit Captain America, Iron Man, Œil-de-Faucon ou la Vision, chacun doté d'une attaque à distance, et des séquences de vol et de tir alternent avec les combats. D'autres Avengers comme la Guêpe ou Namor viennent ponctuellement prêter main-forte. La borne existait en version quatre joueurs, chacun avec un héros attitré, et en version deux joueurs. Le jeu a été porté sur Mega Drive, puis par Mindscape sur Super Nintendo, Game Boy et Game Gear.
